Comparison of educational system and competence of paramedics in the Czech Republic and in Poland

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem komparace vzdělávacího systému a kompetence zdravotnického záchranáře v České republice a v Polsku. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na porovnání systému vzdělávaní zdravotnického záchranáře v České republice a Polsku a současně porovnání kompetenci, které umožnují zákony dané země. Práce je rozdělena na část praktickou a teoretickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na legislativní aspekty, analýzu a identifikaci rozdílů a specifik mezi státy. V praktické části bylo realizováno výzkumné šetření pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku mezi pracovníky ZZS v jednotlivých státech. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit orientaci pracovníků záchranných služeb v kompetencích, spokojenosti s jejich rozsahem a současně bylo analyzováno, zdali legislativní zakotvení v rámci jejich profese je vnímáno jako dostačující. Informace shromážděné v této práci, stejně jako závěry plynoucí ze srovnání odpovídajících profesí v oblasti přednemocniční neodkladné péče, mohou využít zejména posádky operující v oblastech příhraniční spolupráce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis intends to compare the educational system and competencies of paramedics, both in the Czech Republic and Poland. The main topic is comparison of education required and area and legal aspects of competencies of paramedics in both countries. It is devided in a theoretical and practical part. The first part deals with the legal aspects, identifies and analyzes the main differences in education and competencies of paramedics in both countries, while the practical part brings information of paramedics´competencies gathered via questionnaire survey. The aim of the thesis is to find out if the paramedics are familiar with their competencies and their legal aspects and whether they are satisfied with their area. The information gathered in this thesis and the conclusion of the survey can be a useful source of information for paramedics working cross - borders.
