The diploma thesis deals with education of highly gifted pupils at basic schools, particularly with teaching and learning English. Findings described in the theoretical part and confirmed in the practical part are however applicable to other subjects not just English language teaching. Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou velmi nadaných žáků na druhém stupni základní školy a to konkrétně výukou angličtiny. Poznatky popsané v teoretické části a potvrzené v praktické části práce jsou však aplikovatelné i na jiné předměty. Výzkum mimo jiného potvrdil, že hlavním aspektem výuky velmi nadaných žáků je jejich vhodná diferenciace, adekvátní rozvoj myšlení a explicitní stanovení cílů.
