Comparison of time spent by fathers together with their teenagers in two-parent and single-parent families

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku času, který tráví pubescenti se svými otci, nevlastními otci či partnery matky. V teoretické práci jsou vymezeny základní pojmy jako rodina, otec, pubescent a čas věnovaný dětem a to na základě přístupů českých i zahraničních autorů. V praktické části je vypracován dotazník, jehož cílem je zjistit, kolik času otcové, nevlastní otcové a partneři matky tráví s pubescenty, jak tento čas tráví a zda to pubescenty uspokojuje. Respondenty jsou žáci ve věku 11-16 let. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření umožňují provést komparaci získaných výsledků u dvou skupin. První skupinou jsou vlastní otcové v úplných rodinách a druhou skupinou jsou vlastní otcové, nevlastní otcové nebo partneři matky v rodinách neúplných. Práce je zaměřena na rozdíly u těchto dvou zkoumaných skupin. Závěr bakalářské práce obsahuje návrhy pro pedagogickou praxi, jež vycházejí z výsledků realizovaného výzkumu a také z vlastních praktických zkušeností.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of time that pubescent spend with their fathers, stepfathers or mother?s partners. Theoretical part contains determination of basic notion as family, father, pubescent and time devoted to children on the basis of the Czech and foreign authors? approach. In practical part a questionnaire is worked out with the aim to find out how much time fathers, stepfathers or mother?s partners spend with pubescent, how do they spend this time and whether it satisfies the pubescent. Respondents are students from the ages of 11 thought 16. Outcomes from questionnaire survey enable to work out a comparison of the results between the two groups. The first group contains own fathers in complete families and the second group is formed by own fathers not living together with the family, mother?s partners or stepfathers. The bachelor work is focused on the differences between both surveyed groups. Theses conclusion brings proposals for improving pedagogical practices resulting from realized survey and also from own practical experiences.
