Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je život a dílo pedagoga, hudebníka a skladatele Jiřího Vopálky. Záměrem je popsat hlavní směry jeho mnohostranné hudební aktivity. Svou autorskou tvorbu začal Jiří Vopálka uplatňovat v rámci svého působení v menších folkových skupinách a pak zejména ve vokálně-instrumentálním souboru Cink. Pro soubor, který založil na půdě Střední pedagogické školy v Prachaticích v roce 1993, aranžuje vlastní i cizí písně, kterým tak dodává osobité autorské pojetí. Historii Cinku patří v práci důležité místo. Důležitou součástí tvorby Jiřího Vopálky je spolupráce s několika dalšími umělci. Zejména se jedná o společné projekty s básníkem Jiřím Žáčkem.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis is the life and work of the teacher, musician, and composer Jiří Vopálka. The intention is to describe the main directions of his multifaceted musical activity. During his engagement in smaller folk groups, Jiří Vopálka initiated the application of his original creative work, particularly within the vocal-instrumental ensemble Cink. For the ensemble, established at the Secondary Pedagogical School in Prachatice in 1993, he arranges his original compositions and foreign songs, thus infusing them with a distinctive authorial interpretation. The history of Cink holds significant importance within this thesis. Cooperation with several other artists is a crucial part of Jiří Vopálka's work, particularly in joint projects with the poet Jiří Žáček.
