Utilization of Methods and Genres Popular Prose in Novels of Ladislav Fuks

Abstract:

První kapitolu věnujeme podrobné definici žánru detektivky a hororu, zasadíme je kontextu českého prostředí. Budeme se věnovat vývoji těchto žánrů u nás. Druhé kapitole se nejprve zaměříme na detektivní román Mrtvý v podchodu, který uvedeme do souvislosti s konvencemi socialistické detektivky. Dále se zaměříme na originální prvenství v české detektivce, totiž na první postavu policejní vyšetřovatelky kapitánky Evy Renčové. Zvláštní důraz budeme klást na postavy v románu, neboť děj se na úkor vztahu otce a syna upozaděn. První část třetí kapitoly bude věnována pozornost hororové novele Spalovač mrtvol. Největší pozornost věnujeme postavě Karla Kopfrkingla, dále např. motivu smrti. V druhé části analyzujeme román Myši Natalie Mooshabrové, kde se zejména soustředíme na postavu paní Mooshabrové a manipulaci s tajemstvím. V závěrečné čtvrté kapitole zasadíme analyzovaná díla do kontextu současné české prózy, přesněji pak do souvislostí dnešní detektivní a hororové tvorby.

Abstract:

We will pay attention to detailed definition of the genre of detective stories and horrors in the first head especially in czech background´s context. We will follow the development of these genres in our country. In the second head we wil focuse on the detective story Mrtvý v podchodu. We will put this novel into chain of conventions of socialist detective story. Then we will target the original primacy in czech detective story, which is the first character of woman police detective named Eva Renčová. We will especially accentuate characters in the novel, as the story itself is less important than relation between father and son. In first part of third head we will pay attention to horror nouvelle named Spalovač mrtvol. Especially we concentrate on Karel Kopfrkingl´s character, and as well the motives of death. We will analyze horror novel named Myši Natalie Mooshabrové. We will investigate analyzed pieces in present czech prose´s context, especially in context of present czech detective and horror production.
