Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an image of a mother in Los hombres de Celina written by Mario Halley Mora. The theoretical part is focused on a lifetime of the book´s writer compared to a historical development of Paraguay. In the first chapter the life in Asunción and Chacarita during the dictatorship of Alfredo Stroessner in shown. The second subchapter refers to the 40s generation which was to generation including Mario Halley Mora. The third subchapter is concerned with Mario Halley Mora´s life, his other literary works and criticism of some of his pieces. The aim of the second chapter is to consider the topic of the book Los hombres de Celina and the attitude of the 40s generation-writers at the book. The practical part has two chapters, the first one is about a character of a woman and a mother in the literature of South America and Paraguay and later on from Mario Halley Mora´s point of view. The second chapter is devoted to the image of the main character, Celina, described differently as a women and mother. By usage of quotations from the book.

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je obraz matky v díle Los hombres de Celina od Mario Halleye Mory. Teoretická část pojednává o období života autora knihy v historickém vývoji Paraguaye. V první kapitole je zmíněn i život v Asunciónu a Chacaritě během diktatury Alfreda Stroessnera. Druhá podkapitola označuje tzv.: Generaci 40let, jež byla skupina autorů zahrnující Mario Haleye Moru. Třetí podkapitola popisuje život a další díla Mario Halleye Mory a následně i kritiku některých z těchto jeho děl. V druhé kapitole je rozebráno téma knihy Los hombres de Celina a následně pohled autorů Generace 40let na tuto knihu. Praktická část se dělí na dvě kapitoly, první se zabývá ženou a matkou v literatuře Jižní Ameriky, v paraguajské literatuře a poté i z pohledu Mario Halleye Mory. Druhá kapitola je pak věnována obrazu hlavní hrdinky, Celiny, jako ženy a matky, využitím citací z knihy.
