Thomas Aquinas and his continuation of the Aristotelian philosophical tradition in the era of the Christian Middle Ages
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na přepracování a christianizaci Aristotelovy filozofie pro potřeby středověkého křesťanství Tomášem Akvinským. Jsou nastíněny Aristotelovy myšlenky, je zmíněno Arabské pojetí Aristotela a jeho odlišnosti. A nejobsáhlejší část práce se věnuje myšlenkám Tomáše Akvinského v návaznosti na Aristotelovo učení.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on the revision and christianization of Aristotle’s philosophy for the needs of medieval Christianity by Thomas Aquinas. The thoughts of Aristotle are outlined, the Arabic view of Aristotle and his differences is mentioned. The largem part of the thesis is dealing with the thoughts of Thomas Aquinas following on Aristotle’s teachings.
