Czechoslovak parliamentary elections in 1946 - democratic or not?
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje případu československých parlamentních voleb roku 1946. Snaží se odpovědět, zda proběhly v souladu s demokratickými principy. Na základě teorie demokracie, teorie autoritativních režimů a teorie Andrease Schedlera stanovuje podmínky demokratických voleb, se kterými tento konkrétní historický příklad porovnává.
Abstract:
The work deals with the case of the Czechoslovak parliamentary elections of 1946. It tries to answer whether the elections met democratic principles. Based on the theory of democracy, the theory of authoritarian regimes, and Andreas Schedler theory provides the conditions for democratic elections to which this particular historical example compares.
