The circulation of mercury in the environment and plants

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo sledovat distribuci rtuti v rostlinách rajčat. Práce byla řešena formou nádobového pokusu se stupňovanými dávkami rtuti v půdě. Jako indikační plodina byl použit kultivar F1 tyčkových rajčat DOMINO. U vypěstovaných rostlin byl sledován obsah rtuti v kořenech, v jednotlivých částech nati a v plodech. Po provedených chemických analýzách a statistickém vyhodnocení byly zaznamenány významné rozdíly v kumulaci rtuti v jednotlivých částech rostliny rajčete. Získané výsledky jsou porovnány s nejnovějšími poznatky o distribuci rtuti v rostlinách. Součástí práce je i literární rešerše o pohybu rtuti v životním prostředí všeobecně.

Abstract:

The aim of the Master Thesis was to observe the distribution of mercury in tomatoes plants. The research was carried out in a pot experiment, where the tomatoes were planted into soil with gradational amounts of mercury. For this experiment was used a cultivated branch of tomatoes plants called F1 DOMINO. The content of mercury in the plants was measured in the roots, stems and the seeds. The various differences were discovered in chemical analysis focusing on accumulate of mercury in tomatoes plants. The results were statistically evaluated. These results are compared to the new knowledge concerning distribution of mercury in plants. As a part of the Thesis in theory section there is also included a literature search on circulation of mercury in the environment.
