Diplomová práca je zameraná na knihovnícko-informačné služby pre seniorov. V teoretickej časti je zameraná na edukáciu seniorov, ich motiváciu a inštitúcie, ktoré vzdelávanie poskytujú, ďalej na knihovnícko-informačné služby pre seniorov, služby a úlohy verejnej knižnice.
