Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá výpočtem dráhových elementů planetek a výpočtem efemeridy – tedy pozice tělesa na obloze v předem stanovený okamžik. Zmiňuje vývoj porozumění pojmu planetka. Dále začíná předběžným určením dráhy, provedeným metodou Väisäla, a popisuje a aplikuje Gaussovu metodu pro určení definitivní dráhy. Poukazuje na problémy provázející Gaussovu metodu, zejména její citlivost vůči nepřesnostem určení dráhy Země, vstupující do výpočtu. Navrhuje možné další kroky pro zpřesnění dráhy. Pozorování provedená v rámci této práce byla odeslána Minor Planet Center a přispěla k zpřesnění drah pozorovaných těles.

Abstract:

This work deals with computation of orbital parameters of minor planets and computation of ephemerides - the position of the body on sky in given time. Also, development of understanding of a term 'minor planet' is mentioned. Then the work begins with preliminary orbit determination carried out by method of Väisäla and describes and applies Gauss method to determine final orbital parameters. It points out weak points of method of Gauss, especially its great sensitivity to accuracy of Earths orbit parameters entering the calculations. The work suggests possible further steps to enhance the methods performance. The observations of minor planets carried out within this work were sent to Minor Planet Center and helped to refine the orbit parameters of the observed bodies.
