The Staff Burnout Syndrome in Behavioral Education Center with Institutional and Protective Education in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Rigorózní práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. První kapitola se zaměřuje na rozbor stresu jako základního činitele vzniku syndromu vyhoření. Jsou zde uvedeny některé definice tohoto pojmu, specifikovány jednotlivé stresory. Dále je zde popsán všeobecný adaptační syndrom. Závěr kapitoly uvádí jednotlivé příznaky stresu. Obsahem druhé kapitoly je specifikace syndromu vyhoření Dále nachází historické souvislosti a východiska tohoto pojmu. Poukazuje na výzkumná centra tohoto fenoménu. Popisuje také jednotlivé faktory zapříčiňující vznik syndromu vyhoření. Následně se zaměřuje objasnění jednotlivých stádií a příznaků. Na konci této kapitoly je popsána diagnostika syndromu vyhoření. Ve třetí kapitole je specifikován systém zařízení pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy v České republice. Dále je zde definována osobnost pedagoga a uvedeny jednotlivé pracovní pozice v těchto zařízeních. Pozornost je také věnována vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků. Čtvrtá kapitola se zaměřuje na formulaci pracovních hypotéz a metodologii výzkumu. Jsou zde uvedeny parametry výzkumného souboru a následně provedeno vyhodnocení a interpretace výsledků výzkumu. Cílem rigorózní práce je především zmapovat situaci týkající se míry syndromu vyhoření v etopedických zařízeních v České republice. Seznámit s teoretickým základem dané problematiky a poukázat na možná systémová a preventivní řešení této problematiky.

Abstract:

The Rigorous Thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The first chapter focuses on stress analysis as a basic factor in burn-out syndrome development. Here, some definitions of this term are given, as well as the specifications of individual stressors. In addition, a general adaptation syndrome is described herein. The final part of the chapter specifies the individual stress symptoms. The second chapter deals specifically with burn-out syndrome. Furthermore, it shows historical relations and the starting points of this concept. It points out the research centres of this phenomenon. It also describes the individual factors causing the burn-out syndrome formation. Then, it focuses on clarifying the individual stages and symptoms. Finally, the diagnostics of burn-out syndrome is described at the end of this chapter. The third chapter specifies a system of institutions appointed for residential care in the Czech Republic. In addition, the teacher´s personality is defined here as well as the individual job positions in these institutions. The attention is also paid to the staff development. The fourth chapter deals with the formulation of working hypotheses and the methodology of research. The parameters of the research sample are given here, and then the assessment and interpretation of the research results is performed. The goal of the Rigorous Thesis is to map out the situation related to the rate of burn-out syndrome in connection with the ethopedical institutions in the Czech Republic, to familiarize with the theoretical basis of the issue in question and to point out possible system and preventive solutions in this field.
