Salmonella představuje významný střevní patogen schopný infikovat široké spektrum hostitelů, včetně člověka. Salmonella is an important intestinal pathogen, which can infect broad range of hosts, including man. For this purpose, Salmonella possess many genes responsible for invasion, surviving and multiplication in the host cells.
