Abstract:
Poměr délky 2. a 4. prstu (2D:4D poměr) je sexuálně dimorfní znak. Muži mají obecně kratší ukazováček relativně vůči prsteníku a poměr jejich délek je v průměru nižší než u žen. Tento rozdíl je v určité míře způsoben pohlavními rozdíly v hladinách prenatálního testosteronu a estrogenů v nitroděložním vývoji. Abstract:
The 2nd to 4th digit ratio (2D:4D ratio) is sexually dimorphic trait. In general, men have a relatively shorter 2nd finger compared to the 4th finger and 2D:4D ratio of males is on average lower than that of females. This difference is partly caused by sexual differences in levels of prenatal testosterone and estrogens during prenatal development.
