Molekulární identifikace a charakterizace profágů u koaguláza-negativních druhů stafylokoků

Abstract:
Bakteriofágy hrají v biologii stafylokoků významnou úlohu a podstatně se podílejí na jejich genetické variabilitě. Běžné metody pro detekci profágů využívají indukci UV-světlem nebo mitomycinem C a neumožňují lokalizaci profága v bakteriálním genomu. Cílem práce bylo vyhledat specifické sekvence DNA pro bakteriofágy koaguláza-negativních stafylokoků (KNS) a pomocí nich detekovat profágy u KNS.
Abstract:
Bacteriophages have a big meaning in biology of staphylococci and they share in their genetic variability. The common methods for detection of prophages use induction by UV-light or mithomycin C. These methods dont make possible localization of prophage in bacterial genome.
