Automation of the Automatic Regression process in the KPLM system at ŠKODA AUTO a.s.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření robotické procesní automatizace pro interní oddělení společnosti ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Konkrétně se zabývá optimalizací procesu automatické regrese v systému KPML s cílem ušetřit kapacity logistického oddělení PLO, a také čas a finanční prostředky automobilového podniku. První kapitola definuje RPA, popisuje jeho přístupy, výhody a nevýhody a provádí porovnání nejlepších poskytovatelů automatizačního nástroje na trhu. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na detailní popis různých přístupů k implementaci. Následující kapitola rozebírá metodiku používanou automatizačním týmem ACC ve společnosti ŠKODA. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje nově vytvořené metodě implementace RPA, která vychází ze získaných poznatků z předchozích částí závěrečné práce. Poslední kapitola obsahuje podrobný popis vývoje RPA pro logistické oddělení. Výsledkem této práce je plně automatizované řešení, které efektivně šetří práci zaměstnancům, redukuje lidskou chybovost a přináší časové a finanční úspory pro celkovou společnost.

Abstract:

The master thesis focuses on the creation of a robotic process automation for the internal department of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Specifically, it deals with the optimization of the automatic regression process in the KPML system to save capacity of the PLO logistics department, as well as the time and financial resources of the automotive company. The first chapter defines RPA, describes its approaches, advantages, and disadvantages and comparison of the best automation tool providers on the market. The second chapter aims on a detailed description of the different implementation approaches. The following chapter discusses the methodology used by the ACC automation team in ŠKODA. The fourth chapter focuses on the newly developed implementation method of RPA, which is based on the knowledge gained from the previous parts of the thesis. The last chapter contains a detailed description of the development of RPA for the logistics department. The result of this thesis is a fully automated solution that effectively saves employees' work, reduces human error, and delivers time and financial savings for the overall company.
