The methodology and procedures for audit of financial statements

Abstract:

The goal of thesis „The methology and procedures for audit of financial statements“ is to analyse methods and procedures which are necessary to evaluate financal statements. In first part I will define the meaning of audit and its history of origins together with international standards and law framework in Czech republic. Second part is chronologically descriping the process of audit with emphasis on methodology and procedures leading to evaluation of financial statements. In connection to second part, the goal of the last part is to apply achieved understanding of process to selected enterprise with emphasis on audit of receivables.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce „Metodika a postupy auditu účtovnej závierky“ je analýza metód a postupov, ktoré vedú k overeniu účtovnej závierky. V prvej časti bude práca definovať pojem auditu a históriu jeho vzniku spolu s štandardami a právnymi predpismi. Druhá časť sa bude chronologicky zaoberať procesom auditu, pričom dôraz bude na postupy a metodiky vedúce k overeniu účtovnej závierky. V nadväznosti na druhú časť sa bude tretia zaoberať aplikáciou získaných poznatkov na vybraný podnik s dôrazom na audit pohľadávok.
