Tato práce porovnává ideologické koncepty, jež byly propagovány achajmenovskými královskými epigrafiemi s vybranými pasážemi z díla Hérodota s poukazem na auto-rovu ironizaci postavy samovládce. Jsou zde blíže analyzovány jednotlivé aspekty, které vytvářely obraz panovníka, a to jak v perském, tak v řeckém prostředí. This work compares the ideological concepts that were propagated by the Achae-menian royal epigraphs with selected passages from the work of Herodotus, point-ing out the author's irony of the figure of the autocrat.
