Abstract:
Cílem předložené diplomové práce „Metropolitní oblasti v České republice: formování, vymezení, konkurence a výhody“ je funkční vymezení metropolitního areálu pro města Brno a Ostravu a následné porovnání s již existujícími výsledky jiných metodik. Práce se také zaměřuje na historický vývoj metropolitních areálů ve světě.
Abstract:
The goal of the submitted thesis: “Metropolitan areas in the Czech Republic: formation, delimitation, competition and advantages“ is the functional definition of metropolitan areas for cities Brno and Ostrava and a comparison with the results of other existing methodologies. This thesis also focuses on the historical evolution of metropolitan areas in the world.
