Ergonomics of web applications

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je Ergonomie webových aplikací. Cílem této práce je navrhnout systém pro hodnocení ergonomie webových aplikací a tento systém ověřit na konkrétní aplikaci. Práce je členěna do dvou hlavních částí. V teoretické části je nejprve objasněn pojem webová aplikace, dále jsou popsány jednotlivé pojmy z oblasti Human-Computer Interaction a vztahy mezi nimi. Dále se autor zaměřuje na principy použitelnosti a uživatelského prožitku podle jednotlivých odborníků a na jejich základě definuje vlastní ergonomické principy, čímž plynule přechází do části praktické. Ve druhé části jsou na základě principů určena kritéria a způsob jejich vyhodnocení. Poté je podle těchto kritérií posuzován Integrovaný studijní informační systém Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. Přínosem této práce je především univerzální systém pro hodnocení ergonomie webových aplikací. Dále je tu soupis principů pro uživatelsky přívětivá rozhraní.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is Ergonomics of web applications. The aim of this thesis is to design a system for ergonomics evaluation of web applications and to check the system on particular application. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the theoretical part is first explained the concept of web applications, afterwards individual concepts of Human-Computer Interaction and relations between them are described. Furthermore, the author focuses on the principles of usability and user experience by experts and defines its own ergonomic principles based on them, which flows into the practical part. In the second part are determined the criteria and their evaluation based on the principles. According to these criteria is judged Integrated Study Information System of the University of Economics in Prague. Contribution of this thesis can be found especially in universal system for ergonomics evaluation of web applications. There is also the list of principles for user-friendly interface.
