The bachelor thesis examines the post-war events in Italy captured by diplomats of the Czechoslovak legation in Rome. It focuses on the 1947-1949 period, illustrating the beginnings of the Cold War in Europe through the case of Italian politics, the role of the Italian Communist Party in the leadership of the state, and its exclusion from the government.
