Bakalářská práce mapuje životní osudy středoškolského profesora Jana Kropáčka, který stál u zrodu české turistiky na konci 19. a na počátku 20. století. V této době měla turistika charakter vlastenecké činnosti, kterou se vymezovaly zejména české menšiny v německém pohraničí. Abstract:
The Bachelor's dissertation outlines the life and work of Jan Kropáček who stood at the birth of Czech tourism at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, tourism was a rather patriotic activity specific mainly to the Czech minorities in the German border areas.
