Detection of Deformation and Tension by Uing Polymer Nanocomposite with Integrated Carbon Nanotubes Layer

Abstract:

Tato bakalářské práce se zabývá výrobu polymerního kompozitu schopného detekovat de-formační či napěťový podnět. Vyrobený kompozit je na bázi termoplastického polyuretanu a sítě z náhodně zapletených uhlíkových nanotrubic. Pomocí filtrace uhlíkových nanotrubic přes polyuretanovou filtrační membránu vyrobenou technologií elektrostatického zvlákňování a následného zažehlení do polyuretanové vrstvy byl získán kompozitní člen, který byl použit jako senzor pro detekci tahového namáhání. Princip měření spočívá ve změně makroskopického odporu deformací, který se zaznamenává v čase. Bylo zjištěno, že senzorický člen má velkou citlivost, změny jsou vratné, měření jsou opakovatelná a senzor je trvanlivý. Takto získáváme senzorický člen s rozsáhlými možnostmi aplikace. Citlivost senzoru byla dále zvýšena aplikací předpětí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the production of polymer composite capable of detecting a deformation or stress stimulus. The composite is based on thermoplastic polyurethane and a network of randomly entangled carbon nanotubes. A composite used as a sensor for tensile strength was acquired by means of carbon nanotubes filtration through a polyurethane filtering membrane prepared by electrospinning technology and subsequent connection with the polyurethane body. The measurements are based on the change of the macroscopic re-sistance change of carbon nanotube layer recorded in time. It has been found that: the sen-sor has very high sensitivity, the changes are reversible, the measurements are repeatable and the sensor is durable. Thus, we have acquired a sensor with numerous and various pos-sible applications. The sensor sensitivity was further increased by the prestrain application.
