Předmětem této bakalářské práce je nalézt a analyzovat prvky Eurípidova vlivu ve hrách Williama Shakespeara. Práce se nejprve věnuje kulturnímu pozadí alžbětinské Anglie ve vztahu ke klasickému umění, a Shakespearovu vlastnímu klasickému vzdělání. The subject of this dissertation is to find and analyse the elements of Euripides' influence as found in William Shakespeare's plays. First, the thesis comments on the cultural background of Elizabethan England and its connection to the classics, and on Shakespeare's own classical education.
