Divadelní budovy v Olomouci a v Moravské Ostravě vzešly z iniciativy představitelů města nebo spolků v průběhu 19. století. During the 19th century theatre buildings in Olomouc and in Moravian Ostrava arose from the initiative of city representatives or clubs. Even though there is the time-difference, almost sixty years of the construction of these two buildings, there are many similar (or common) features.
