Abstract:

The main aim of my master thesis is the description and the analysis of the German society in the second half of the 19th century. This society is analysed on the basis of the book Lieben und Leben from the author Max Ring.The analysisfocuses on two main figures, and every figure represents a different social class. In this case it is the nobility and the bourgeoisie. My master´s thesis brings two results. The first result is the comparison of the theory and the praxis, and to come to the conclusion, if they correspond. The second result is a comparison of the two main figures with the aim to find out if there are some similarities or differences in their lives and behaviours.

Abstract:

Das Ziel meiner Masterarbeit ist es, die Gesellschaft, die in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts in Deutschland lebte, zu beschreiben und anhand des literarischen Werkes Lieben und Lebenvom des Schriftstellers Max Ring zu analysieren. Die Analyse richtet sich auf zwei Hauptfiguren, wobei jede Hauptfigur eine andere gesellschaftliche Schicht repräsentiert, in diesem Falle handelt es sich um den Adel und die Bourgeoisie. Meine Masterarbeit bringt zwei Ergebnisse. Das erste Ergebnis besteht darin, die Theorie mit der Praxis zu vergleichen um festzustellen, ob sie übereinstimmen. Das zweite Ergebnis gewährt einen Vergleich dieser zwei Hauptfiguren, um eine Schlussfolgerung zu ziehen, ob in ihrem Leben und Verhalten einige Ähnlichkeiten oder Unterschiede zu finden sind.
