The diploma thesis deals with implementation of a new assembly line in the company Brose Prievidza, spol. s r.o. The theoretical part is focused on defining the terms of the depart-ment of industrial engineering, characterizing the assembly process and lean processes, de-fining the types of waste and describing the tools of industrial engineering.
