Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám Euroregionem Těšínské Slezsko jako institucí zastřešující a podporující přeshraniční spolupráci. Vzhledem ke studovanému oboru jsem se zaměřila na podporu neziskových organizací. V první části představuji postavení euroregionů v rámci regionální politiky EU a fondů EU a vysvětluji fungování programů, ve kterých je struktura euroregionů ukotvena. Druhá část je věnována zejména Euroregionu Těšínské Slezsko, jeho právnímu postavení, vymezení územní působnosti, historickému vývoji území a organizační struktuře. Uvádím zde také pojmy euroregion a přeshraniční spolupráce z obecného hlediska. V rámci této části představuji také projekt ?Jedno město ? jedna kultura? Kulturního a společenského střediska Střelnice v Českém Těšíně, který byl podpořen fondem mikroprojektů Euroregion Těšínské Slezsko a je tak příkladem úspěšného splnění všech požadavků a kritérií Euroregionu na předkládané projekty. Ve výzkumné části své práce jsem na základě kvantitativního výzkumu provedla analýzu přeshraniční spolupráce mezi neziskovými organizacemi v Českém Těšíně a Cieszynie, jejichž projekty byly Euroregionem Těšínské Slezsko finančně podpořeny. Porovnávám pohled na přeshraniční spolupráci, informovanost o působení Euroregionu Těšínské Slezsko a návrhy na zlepšení spolupráce a informovanosti mezi českými a polskými neziskovými organizacemi.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia as an institution covering and supporting the cross boarder cooperation. Due to the field of study I examine the support of non-governmental organizations. The first part deals with the position of the Euroregions in the framework of the EU?s regional policy and explains the functioning of programs in which the structure of the Euro-Regions is anchored. The second part deals above all with the Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia itself, its legal status, the determination of territorial scope, historical development and organization structure. It also examines the concepts of the Euroregions and cross-boarder cooperation from a general perspective. In the framework of this part I introduce the project of the Cultural and social centre ?Střelnice? in Český Těšín ?One city ? one culture? which was supported by the micro-project fund Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia and is an example of successful fulfilment of all requirements and criteria of the Euroregion for the presented projects. In the exploratory part of the thesis I made an analysis of the cross-boarder cooperation of the non-profit organizations in Český Těšín and Cieszyn based on quantitative research, whose projects were financially supported by the Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia. I compare the view of the cross-boarder cooperation, awareness of the activity of the Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia and suggestions for improvements of the cooperation and the awareness between the Czech and Polish non-governemntal organizations.
