Breast cancer prevention level in women aged 18 to 45 years in ambulatory gynecological facilities in the Pardubice region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na prevenci nádorového onemocnění prsu u žen od 18 do 45 let, zejména protože se jedná o nejčastější onkologické onemocnění u žen. Cílem teoretické části této práce je zmapovat anatomii prsu, rizika předcházející tomuto onemocnění a především možnosti prevence v této oblasti, s čímž souvisí i popsání příznaků, které by měly alarmovat možnost počínajícího nádorového onemocnění. V praktické části je hlavním cílem pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjistit úroveň znalostí, vztahujících se k tomuto problému, a to u žen ve věku od 18 do 45 let. Na základě výsledků bude vytvořen pestrý edukační materiál. Praktická část také prezentuje výsledky průzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on prevention of breast tumors in women aged from 18 to 45 mainly because it is the most common oncologic disease in women. The goal of the theoretical part of this thesis is describing breast anatomy, risks preceding this illness and primarily ways of prevention together with symptoms which should alarm patients about the possibility of a beginning oncologic disease. The goal of the practical part is finding out the level of knowledge about this problem in women aged from 18 to 45. A diverse educational document is going to be created based on the results of the survey which will be presented as well.
