Project Gervill is a MIDI software synthesizer for Java, which‘ve replaced previous and unsufficient implementation. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the making of sound and music using computers and to implement demonstrational application using Gervill and Java Sound API. Projekt Gervill je softvérový MIDI syntetizátor pre Javu, ktorý nahradil predchádzajúcu nevyhovujúcu implementáciu. Cieľom tejto práce je priblížiť tvorbu zvuku a hudby pomocou počítača a vytvoriť demonštračnú aplikáciu s použitím projektu Gervill a rozhrania Java Sound API.
