The issue of domestic violence and the institute of banishing in legislation and practice

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuálním problémem společnosti, kterým je domácí násilí. Teoretická část se zabývá domácí násilím, objasňuje pojem domácí násilí, dále se zabývá jeho znaky a formami. Je zde také popsána charakteristika pachatele a oběti domácího násilí. Práce se zaměřuje na prevenci a intervenci domácího násilí. Dále blíže popisuje důležitost této organizace poskytující pomoc obětem domácího násilí. Praktická část obsahuje empirické šetření s pracovníky intervenčního centra a Policie České republiky, na základě poskytnutých osobních rozhovorů a statistik.

Abstract:

Submitted bachelor thesis is dealing with actual problem of society, which is domestic violence. Theoretical part is dealing with domestic violence, explaining the concept of domestic violence. Furthermore, it deals with its signs, forms. There is also a description of characterization of an offender and a victim of domestic violence. The work is aimed at prevention and intervention of domestic violence. Furthemore, the work is closely describing the importance of organisation that is providing help for those victims of domestic violence. Practical part contains empirical investigation with staff at the intervention center and with staff of Police from the Czech Republic, on the basis of provided personal interviews and statistics.
