Abstract:
Arabské povstání započalo v červnu roku 1916, kdy Arabové pod vedením šarífa Husajna spojili síly s Brity, a povstali proti osmanské nadvládě s cílem zajistit si nezávislost a vytvořit jednotný arabský stát. Součástí této revolty se stal i britský plukovník T. E. Lawrence, jenž s formou guerillové války pomáhal Arabům nad Turky zvítězit. Abstract:
The Arab revolt began in June 1916, when the Arabs, under the leadership of Sharif Hussein, joined their forces with the British, and rose up against the Ottoman domination with the aim of securing independence and creating a single unified Arab state.
