No comic as a comic or his growing power and development from a historical perspective

Abstract:

Ze začátku je komiks obecně představen a práce se pokouší komiksové médium definovat. Ona definici je zprostředkovaná více názory, stejně tak brána i z několika úhlů pohledů. Komiks je dále rozdělen do základních typů. Druhá část se zabývá komiksovou historií ať už v Americe, Čechách či Japonsku. Letmé náhledy do historie obsahují nejzásadnější díla, momenty a autory. Také se v této kapitole ukazuje, jak byl komiks všeobecně vnímán. Třetí část se zaobírá filmovou podobou komiksových příběhů. Zde lze nejvíce rozpoznat, jak byl komiks diváky vnímán a jak se jejich názory postupně měnili. Poslední část se jen lehce dotýká ostatních forem komiksu a poukazuje na jeho rostoucí fenomén. Důležitou součástí je zmínka o komiksových festivalech a stále větším počtem fanoušků. Závěrem je pak napsáno, že komiks stále roste v oblíbenosti, i přesto, že má spoustu odpůrců, a že se jeho vnímání lišilo právě díky etnickému rozdílu. Zároveň však neustále dokazuje, že je médiem, se kterým by se mělo v budoucnu počítat

Abstract:

From the beginning, comics is presented in general and the works are trying to define the comics media. That definition is mediated by numerous opinions, as well as taken from several points of view. Comics are divided into a few fundamental types. The second part is about the history of comics, be it in America, Czech Republic or Japan. Glances into the history include the most important works, moments and authors. This chapter also shows how comics was generally perceived. The third part is about the film versions of comics stories. It's possible to see here how comics was perceived by the viewers and how their opinions changed over time. The last part is just lightly scratching on other forms of comics and shows how the phemonenon grows. The important element is a mention of comics festivals and a still growing number of fans. In conclusion it's stated how comics is still growing in popularity even though there's a lot of respondents, and that its perception differed thanks to ethnic difference. At the same time comics proves that it's a media that should be counted on with in the future.
