Analysis of the Labor Market in the Frýdek - Místek District during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na trh práce v okrese Frýdek-Místek v období pandemie Covidu-19. Cílem je zjistit jakým způsobem ovlivnila pandemie zaměstnanost a nezaměstnanost a jak se nezaměstnanost v období pandemie na daném území vyvíjela. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se trhu práce, zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti. Praktická část se zabývá dopadem pandemie Covidu-19 na zaměstnanost a nezaměstnanost v okrese Frýdek-Místek. Následně je věnována pozornost vývoji nezaměstnanosti ve sledovaném období a struktuře uchazečů o zaměstnání. Na závěr je uvedeno zhodnocení situace na trhu práce ve sledovaném období a jsou navrhnuta má vlastní doporučení pro zlepšení situace v okrese.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the labor market in the Frýdek-Místek district during the Covid-19 pandemic.The aim of the thesis is to find out how the pandemic affected employment and unemployment and how unemployment developed during the pandemic in the area. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to the labor market, employment and unemployment.The practical part deals with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on employment and unemployment in the Frýdek-Místek district. Furthermore, attention is paid to the development of unemployment in the reporting period and the structure of job seekers. In conclusion, there is an evaluation of the situation on the labor market in the reporting period and there are given my own recommendations for improving the situation in the district.
