Perception of dog therapy in social services for children with autistic spectrum disorder and their families

Anotace:

Cílem této diplomové práce je prozkoumat způsoby vnímání účastníků sociálních služeb přínosů a komplikací canisterapie u dětí s poruchami autistického spektra a jejich rodin. V práci se věnuji tématům canisterapie, poruchám autistického spektra (PAS) a jejich propojením na poli sociálních služeb. Výzkum je proveden pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a je použita metoda datové triangulace. Respondenty jsou mi matky dětí s PAS, pedagogové a canisterapeuté. Výsledky šetření jsou následně interpretovány v analýze rozhovorů pomocí zakotvené teorie, na kterou navazuje odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku. V závěru práce jsou uvedená doporučení na další výzkum a praxi.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to explore ways of perception of the participants of the social service of benefits and complications of animal assisted therapy for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The work is devoted to animal assisted therapy, autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their connection to the field of social services. Research is carried out using semi-structured interviews and the method of data triangulation. Respondents are mothers of children with autism, teachers and canisterapeuté. The results are then interpreted in the analysis of interviews using appropriate theory, continues to answer the principal research question. At the end of thesis are the recommendations for further research and practice.
