Cílem práce bylo osvětlit proces vytvoření samostatné české řádové provincie, nastínit roli johanitských představitel v politice českého královského dvora, jejich zapojení do celořádových struktur, ale i postavení ve struktuře samotného českého převorství. The Order of the Hospital St. John of Jerusalem experienced great expansion after the new Luxembourg dynasty ascended the Czech throne. The gradual establishment of the Hospitallers Order in the society and the expansion of its economic background proceeded in several periods generally identifiable with current Orders representatives the Czech Priors.
