Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku hygieny rukou ve zdravotnickém zařízení, speciálně na její nejdůležitější složku, hygienickou dezinfekci rukou. Míra compliance hygieny rukou významně ovlivňuje výskyt nozokomiálních nákaz ve zdravotnickém zařízení. V teoretické části je zmíněna základní charakteristika epidemiologického procesu, preventivní opatření a léčba nozokomiálních nákaz. Dále je popsána problematika hygieny rukou současné praxe, zvláště hygienické dezinfekce rukou, a nastíněna metodika zvyšování compliance hygieny rukou ve zdravotnickém zařízení dle současných doporučení Světové zdravotnické organizace (WHO). . V praktické části je dokumentováno výzkumné šetření úrovně hygieny rukou ve sledovaném zdravotnickém zařízení. Výzkum je zaměřen na vedoucí pracovníky nelékařských zdravotnických profesí, na jejich znalosti v oblasti hygieny rukou a uplatňování poznatků v praxi. Ke zjištění situace a celkové compliance hygieny rukou bylo použito dotazníkové šetření, nepřímé sledování spotřeby dezinfekčních prostředků a přímé sledování dodržování základních indikací pro hygienu rukou dle doporučení Světové zdravotnické organizace.

Abstract:

My bachelor final project is focused to the issue of the hand hygiene in the medical facilities, especially to its most important part, which is the hygienic disinfection of hands. Degree of the hand hygiene compliance has a significant impact to the occurrence of nosocomial infection in any medical facility. Basic characteristic of epidemiological process, preventive measures and treatment of the nosocomial infections are mentioned in the theoretical part. Issue of hand hygiene in current practice, especially the hygienic disinfections of hands is described further on, and a new methodology of increasing the hand hygiene compliance in medical facilities in accordance with the current recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) is proposed. In the practical part, my research in the field of the standard of the hand hygiene compliance in the monitored medical facility is documented. My research was focused to the employees of non-medical professions at managerial levels, their awareness from the field of the hand hygiene and applications of this knowledge in daily routine praxis. To find out how is the situation in the field of hand hygiene compliance, I used the methods of questionnaire research, indirect monitoring of consumption of disinfection means as well as direct monitoring of the compliance of basic indications for the hand hygiene according to the WHO recommendations.
