M. I. Kostomarov and Kievan Rus'
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá postavou historika M.I. Kostomarova (1817-1885) a jeho dílem věnovaným Kyjevské Rusi. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována ohlasům jeho myšlenek v současné ukrajinské historiografii a diskuzi o citlivých otázkách spojených s obdobím Kyjevské Rusi, například o počátku etnogeneze ukrajinského národa a o existenci staroruské národnosti.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on historian M.I. Kostomarov (1817-1885) and his works dealing with Kievan Rus´. Diploma thesis also concentrate on receptions his thoughts in the current Ukrainian historiography and intercepting the current state of dicussion covering the sensitive questions of old-Rus´nationality and beginning of the etnogenesis of the Ukrainian nation.
