The occurence of side effects to vaccinated individuals against COVID-19

Abstract:

Uvod: obava z nezadoucich ucinku byva jednim z duvodu odmitnuti ockovani, ale jejich ocekavani casto meni vnimani a nazor jedincu. Cil: hlavnim cilem teto prace bylo zjistit vyskyt nezadoucich ucinku u ockovanych osob proti COVID - 19, zjistit charakter nezadoucich ucinku a vliv vakciny na jejich vyskyt. Metodika: pruzkum byl proveden pomoci kvantitativni metody formou dotaznikoveho setreni. Celkovy pocet respondentu byl 446. Vysledna data od respondentu byla sbirana nasledne vyhodnocena v zakoupenem programu survio.cz premium a dale byla zpracovana do grafu v MS Office Excel s vyuzitim relativni cetnosti (%). Vysledky: ze ziskanych dat lze zjistit, ze nezadoucimi ucinky trpelo 67,3 % respondentu a nejcastejsim charakterem projevu byla bolest a zarudnuti v miste vpichu, unava. Vyskyt nezadoucich ucinku nezavisi na tom, kolikata davka vakciny je aplikovana. Data poukazuji, ze u vsech trech davek byl vyskyt nezadoucich ucinku obdobny temer 50 %. Nejvice 46,9 % respondentu sve problemy resila klidovym rezimem. Vyskyt nezadoucich ucinku nahlasilo pouze 11,9 % a nejcasteji zdravotnickemu personalu v ockovacich centrech. U 6,1 % respondentu nezadouci ucinky nadale pretrvavaji a nejvice zminovana byla unava a potize s menstruaci. Zaver: touto praci bych rada poukazala populaci na mozny vyskyt nezadoucich ucinku, ale i na dulezitost nechat se ockovat na onemocneni COVID - 19.

Abstract:

Introduction: concerns about side effects are one of the reasons for refusing vaccinations, but their expectations often change individuals' perceptions and opinions. Aim: the main aim of this work was to determine the incidence of adverse events in vaccinated individuals against COVID - 19, to determine the nature of adverse reactions and the effect of the vaccine on their occurrence. Methodology: the survey was conducted using a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire survey. The total number of respondents was 446. The resulting data from the respondents were collected and evaluated in the purchased program survio.cz premium and subsequently processed into graphs in MS Office Excel using relative frequency (%). Results: from the obtained data it can be found that 67.3% of respondents suffered from side effects and the most common nature of the manifestation was pain and redness at the injection site, fatigue. The incidence of side effects does not depend on how much vaccine is given. The data show that at all three doses, the incidence of side effects was similar around 50%. Most 46.9% of respondents solved their problems by rest. Only 11.9% and most often medical staff in vaccination centers reported the occurrence of adverse reactions. In 6.1% of respondents, side effects persist and the most mentioned were fatigue and menstrual problems. Conclusion: With this thesis I would like to contribute to the awareness of possible side effects, but also the importance of getting vaccinated for COVID - 19.
