Solution of congestions in cities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na řešení problematiky kongescí ve městech. Jejím cílem je analyzovat typické nástroje pro řešení problematiky kongescí ve městech, tyto nástroje vyhodnotit a navrhnout možné řešení problematiky kongescí na území hlavního města Prahy. V práci jsou teoreticky vymezeny problémy měst v podobě dopravních kongescí, jejich různé členění a nástroje vedoucí k řešení dopravních kongescí. Praktická část je založena na teoretické a praktické analýze řešení dopravních kongescí pomocí MHD zdarma. Návrhová část vychází z východisek tvorby dopravních kongescí na území Prahy a navrhuje pro ni ucelený bezplatný systém MHD. Závěrečná část práce obsahuje zhodnocení navrhovaného zavedení systému MHD zdarma na území hlavního města Prahy.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on solution of congestions in cities. The aim is to analyze a functional way for solving problems of congestion in cities, to assess these ways and to suggest possible solutions to avoid a busy traffic in the capital city of Prague. In this thesis, the problems of cities are theoretically defined as traffic congestions, various type of congestions and the ways to solve these congestions. The research is based on theoretical analysis and practical solutions of traffic congestion by using a public transport for free. The project part is based on traffic congestion in Prague and proposes a comprehensive system of a free public transport. The final part includes the assessment of the proposed introduction of free public transport in the capital city of Prague.
