Abstract:
Bakalářská práce popisuje některé události z historie Spojených Států Amerických, které měly negativní vliv na občanská práva a svobody Američanů. Další část se zabývá antiteroristickým zákonem zvaným Patriot Act, který vznikl po 11. září 2001. Práce popisuje nejdiskutabilnější části tohoto zákona a jejich dopad obzvláště na první a čtvrtý dodatek ústavy.
Abstract:
This thesis describes a few events from the history of the United States of America that had a negative influence on American civil rights and liberties. Another chapter deals with an antiterrorist law – Patriot Act – which arose after 9/11. The thesis describes the most controversial sections of this law and their impact especially on the First and the Fourth Amendments to the Constitution.
