Fanciful motives in the work of Jaroslav Panuška

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na dílo Jaroslava Panušky. Detailně rozebere dobu, ve které umělec tvořil, motivy a tendence, jimiž byl inspirován a ovlivňován v jeho vlastní tvorbě. Jeho práce by se dala rozdělit do dvou částí. V první zobrazuje fantaskní a pohádkové motivy a v následující části druhé, zobrazuje témata krajinářské či archeologické. V této tvorbě se zaměřuje na českou historii, o kterou se velice zajímal celý život a malby rozlehlých krajin, k čemuž aspiroval od počátku jeho malířské kariéry. V poslední části práce se pokusím o interpretaci dvou děl ze soukromé sbírky, která v literatuře doposud nebyla podchycena. Obrazy můžeme zasadit do jeho počáteční tvorby, kdy zobrazuje fantaskní tematiku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the work of Jaroslav Panuška. I am going to analyze in detail the period in which the artist created, the motives and tendencies that he was inspired and influenced by in his own work. His work is divided in two parts. In the first one it shows fanciful and fairy-tale motives and in the next oneit shows landscapes and archaeological themes. In his work hefocused on Czech history, which interested him his entire life and paintings of vast landscapes, to which he aspired from the beginning of his painting career. In the last part of the thesis I am going to interpret two works from a private collection that has not been recorded in literature so far. The paintings can be embedded in his early work that shows fanciful themes.
