Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat institut finanční asistence a jeho vývoj na národní a evropské úrovni. Nejprve pojmově vymezím institut finanční asistence a vysvětlím účel regulace finanční asistence. Současná právní úprava hovoří spíše o zákazu finanční asistence, respektive o poměrně přísných podmínkách jejího povolení.
