This bachelor thesis deals with similarity searching in metric spaces. After explaining basic terms, an outline of structures called Fixed Height Queries Tree and Fixed Queries Array is given, which forms the basis for description of the structure called Fixed Queries Trie. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá podobnostným vyhľadávaním v metrických priestoroch. Po vysvetlení základných pojmov nasleduje základný náčrt fungovania štruktúr Fixed Height Queries Tree a Fixed Queries Array, ktorý sa z dôvodu značnej podobnosti neskôr použije pri popise štruktúry Fixed Queries Trie.
