Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Budgets of Regions of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést analýzu podpory podnikání a inovací z rozpočtů krajů České Republiky a navrhnout prospěšná a potřebná opatření. První úsek teoretické části je zaměřen především na objasnění pojmu rozpočet, funkce rozpočtu a jeho obsahového složení. Druhá část pak objasňuje pojem regionální rozvoj a obzvláště se zabývá vztahem mezi regionálním rozvojem a rozvojem podnikání a inovací v regionech. Praktická část je zaměřena na samotnou analýzu podpory podnikání a inovací z rozpočtů krajů České Republiky, a sice za období posledních pěti let tedy během let 2007-2012. V poslední části práce jsou uvedena opatření, která by mohla pomoci k příznivým změnám v tvorbě lepší struktury rozpočtů a zlepšení podnikatelského zázemí v některých krajích České Republiky.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the degree of business support and innovations from regional budgets on the territory of Czech Republic, additionally to suggest some beneficial and useful actions in favour of it. The first section of the theoretical parts is primarily focusing on clarifying of various concepts and terms, such as the budget, its function and content. The second part later on explicates the development of the regions, the relationship between a regional development and innovations in particular. On the other hand, the practical part is concentrating on the analysis of enterprise promotion itself, as well as innovations coming from Czech districts, specifically in the period of time between years 2007 and 2012. In the last part of the thesis there are mentioned some suggestions of actions that could, in some districts, be able to help to improve entrepreneurial background and management in term of the efficiency.
