Abstract:

Účelem diplomové knihy "Záře z modré hory" je představit divákovy příběh hraběnky Mitsuko a zároveň přiblížit možnosti výtvarných japonských principů jak kresebně, tak i typograficky, a graficky. Cílem knihy také bylo sloučit západní a východní přístupy , stejně jako se hraběnka z Japonska musela přizpůsobit evropským mravům, ale stále při tom nezapomněla svou na rodnou vlast. Dílo je plné nejrůznějších kontrastů, které se které se však nakonec nakonec dokážou skvěle doplňovat. Dílo má být pokusem o zachycení Japonska očima Evropy a naopak.Tak jako tomu bylo podobně i v příběhu naší hlavní hrdinky, když jako jedna z prvních japonců emigrovala do Rakousko-Uherska přitom o něm neměla ani ponětí a vyprávěla svůj příběh.

Abstract:

The purpose of the diploma book "Glow from the Blue Mountain" is to introduce the audience to the story of Countess Mitsuko and at the same time to bring closer the possibilities of Japanese creative principles both in drawing, typographically and graphically. The aim of the book was also to combine Western and Eastern approaches, just as the Countess from Japan had to adapt to European manners but still did not forget her native land. The work is full of various contrasts, but in the end, they can complement each other perfectly. The work is supposed to be an attempt to capture Japan through the eyes of Europe and vice versa. As it was similar to the story of our main heroine, when she was one of the first Japanese people to emigrate to Austria-Hungary, she had no idea about it and told her story.
