Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo identifikovat hlavní příčiny nerovnosti žen a mužů v kontextu dvou rozvojových zemí – Bosny a Hercegoviny a Rwandy – po genocidách v letech 1994 a 1995. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na hlavní příčiny, konkrétně kulturou, náboženstvím, etnickou příslušností, institucionální asymetrií a legislativou.
