Job satisfaction of regular and agency workers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem „Pracovní spokojenost kmenových a agenturních dělníků“ je zaměřena na pracovní spokojenost zaměstnaců dceřinné společnosti nadnárodní korporace. Tato společnost zaměstnává své kmenové zaměstnance a také zaměstnance agentury práce. Cílem této diplomové práce je odpověď na otázku: „Docilují dočasně přidělení pracovníci agentury práce stejné pracovní spokojenosti jako zaměstnanci kmenoví?“ Teoretická část práce vymezuje problematiku pracovní spokojenosti a vyjasňuje rámec agenturního zaměstnávání. Klíčovým výstupem teoretické části je rozlišení faktorů majících vliv na pracovní spokojenost a odkrytí významných rozdílů v pracovním působení agenturních a kmenových zaměstnanců. Pracovní spokojenost se zdá být u obou skupin srovnatelná, s větší tendencí k nespokojenosti u kmenových zaměstnanců. Jako nejvíce problematické faktory, jež ovlivňují pracovní spokojenost, se jeví finanční ohodnocení, zaměstnanecké výhody, informovanost a identifikace s uživatelskou organizací. V diskuzi lze nalézt doporučení pro zlepšení současného stavu.

Abstract:

This thesis titled „Job satisfaction of regular and agency workers“ is focused on the job satisfaction of employees of the supra-national corporation´s subsidiary. This company employs its regular employees as well as the employment agencies workers. The aim of this thesis is to answer the question: “Achieve employment agencies workers the same job satisfaction as a regular employees?” The theoretical part of the thesis defines the issues of job satisfaction and clarifies the scope of agency employment. The key outcome of the theoretical part is a) distinction of the factors affecting the job satisfaction and b) uncovering significant differences in the activities of the agency and regular employees. Job satisfactions appears to be comparable in both groups with a greater tendency to dissatisfaction among the regular employees. As most problematic factors affecting the job satisfaction seems salary, employee benefits, awareness and identification with the user organization. Within the discussion there can be found some recommendations, for improving the current situation.
