Experiencing distance learning during Covid 19.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce na téma Prožívání distanční výuky za Covidu 19 je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část je složena z kapitol, které jsou zaměřeny na distanční výuku a její historii, jednotlivá hlediska na distanční vyučování z hlediska rodičů, učitelů a žáků. Teoreticko-kritická analýzy předává informace, které jsou spojeny s digitální propastí a budoucností ve výuce a učení. Poslední kapitolou jsou působící faktory, kterými je motivace, samostatnost, duševní stres, náročné životní situace a coping. Empirickou část tvoří kvalitativní výzkum prožívání distanční výuky za Covidu 19, která je zaměřena na prožívání a porozumění vybraných studentů střední školy AGC a.s. Teplice v souvislosti s dlouhodobou distanční výukou v letech 2020 - 2021. Ke sběru dat, je zvolen polostrukturovaný, individuální rozhovor a metoda zakotvené teorie, která je vytvořena, a ověřena prostřednictvím systematického shromažďování údajů o zkoumaném jevu a analýzy těchto údajů. Proto se fáze shromažďování údajů, jejich analýza a samotná teorie vzájemně doplňují. Rozborem polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a z analýzy získaných dat vyplývá, že žáci neměli žádnou motivaci k učení, převládá výhodný pohled na nepřehlednou situaci a tím i kladný pohled na školní absenci. Nejčastějším opakujícím se faktorem, který ovlivňuje jednotlivé žáky v prožívání při dlouhodobé distanční výuce, je zmatek, chaos, pocit prázdnin a volnosti ze školy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis on the topic of Experiencing distance learning during Covid-19 is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is composed of chapters that are focused on distance learning and its history, individual aspects of distance learning from the perspective of parents, teachers and students. Theoretical-critical analysis conveys information that is connected to the digital divide and the future of teaching and learning. The last chapter deals with the influencing factors, which are motivation, independence, mental stress, challenging life situations and coping. The empirical part consists of qualitative research on the experience of distance learning during Covid-19, which is focused on the understanding and experience of selected students of the AGC a.s. secondary school Teplice in connection with long-term distance learning in years 2020 - 2021. For data collection, a semi-structured, individual interview and the method of grounded theory are chosen. The method of grounded theory is created and verified through the systematic collection of data on the investigated phenomenon and the analysis of this data. Therefore, the stages of data collection, their analysis and the theory itself complement each other. The analysis of the semi-structured interviews and the analysis of the obtained data shows that the students had no motivation to learn, a favorable view of the confusing situation prevails and thus also a positive outlook on school absence. The most frequent recurring factors that affects individual students' experience of long-term distance education are confusion, chaos, holiday feeling and time off from school.
