The bachelor thesis deals with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) in orthopaedic patients and consists of 2 parts. In the first, theoretical part of the thesis I describe what NPWT is, its history, advantages, disadvantages, indications, contraindications, competences of non-medical health professionals (NMHPs) related to NPWT and methods of application in the Czech Republic.
